More than 53.9 million passengers used Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in 2011 and about 3.9 million tonnes of cargo passed through the airport. About 900 aircraft movements and over 100 airlines link HKIA with about 160 destinations worldwide every day, making it one of the busiest international passenger airports in the world.
